Well you won't find much sympathy here!.. Its 245 miles each way to Brielle, and almost 5 hours drive time down and 6 back for me, and I leave at midnight ...

I don't think most of rockland county is more than an hour and a quarter, maybe an hour and down to Brielle... Its only 1/2 hour further down as opposed to AH, maybe not even that much..
The Paramount catches bottom fish when others don't.. I always have done well with them... I would board them above any other bottom fishing boat when it comes to Ling.... bob

just FYI... at the time of day to get on a boat, from anywhere up north the drive to Brielle is literally FIVE MINUTES longer than the drive to Atlantic Highlands because rt 36 or cutting through middletown both suck

You are probably closer to correct than I am..
In miles AH is 225 miles from here, and Brielle about 240+
Early am the travel time is not all that significant a difference as you stated due to Rt 36.. might be 10 minutes more for me....

You got me beat!!! I"m 2:25 down to the dock. For me it's a better deal with the marathon trips, there's none on the schedule. Hope they put some on for May and June, best months to be down there.
