Very interesting read, thanks for sharing. I read (probably in one of Greenberg's books...) that NJ started to look into restoring oyster beds by providing habitat in Raritan bay. The state govt. shut that down, removed the "oyster balls" and left them somewhere in or near Keyport. Is anyone else familiar wit this?

Awesome aritcle! I had no idea they were planning on building a reef so soon. If construction actually starts in 2018 that'd be pretty impressive. It would be a great thing to have oysters back in our home waters!
