Default Monger Sunday Tog with FF

Got the invite which this time of year I appreciate and hold in high regard from Joey Da Fish. Tog trip invite on the Monger hard to come by! Left the dock early and headed to the tog grounds with tempered after the lousy few weeks but high expactations (after all you are on the MONGER)

All star tog crew on board including Joey, Scott, Frank, Eric, Adam, Rob, Stanley S&S Jigs, Kevin and Stellios. Tough crowd to compete with for sure.

We grinded out 24 keepers (of course Capt said it sucked) with some quailty fish and a couple of PB's. Eric had the top Tog just under 14 lbs, Frank had a 12lbr, 5 others came in at high single digits, rest were roasters. Joey was on and HH with 6 Keeps plus multiple trash fish on Hermits
Both Jigs and Rigs caught today. Stanleys Jigs work!

Eric fished next to me all day and had just said the "Bottom is perfect here" which I replied so where are the Tog ? 2 seconds later he locked up on his slob and I swear he wasnt breathing for few minutes. His Grin from then on was annoying at least but deserved at best. He worked hard for that fish.

I started off with 2 keepers and a short on the first drop and was feeling good. Keeper bite for me then died until I put a third in early afternoon. Added 3 more shorts but was happy to be in the mid to upper end of this crew for keepers. Still learning but catching last few trips so will be back for sure.
I found the greenies got more bites but my keepers were on white leggers

Thanks Joey for the invite. Always a good day with Capt Jerry, left in the dark got back in the dark! Roger the mate was there all day as usual
