FISH STIX - Blackfish Reports
Sorry we have been MIA. We have been VERY busy. Hope everyone is doing well.
We had an incredible fall bass season. Here’s a little update on our blackfish season so far. We have been blackfishing everyday the weather let’s us. The start of the season was super slow, only catching around 10 keepers or less per trip. Lately, The bite has been a pick but we have been catching enough by days end over the last week or so. Couple decent trips over the last 10 Days or so. Some more notable catches are 51 keepers, 42 keepers, 30 keepers, 20 keepers, 17 keepers, 30 keepers, 30 keepers the last 7 days. 90% jig fishing. Busted off 6-8 slobs in recent trips. Had numerous fish in the 7-8lb range, with solid roasters each trip, and fish up to 11lbs today. That fish was released. Hopefully things improve for all of us. It’s def been tough. But we’ll keep trying and giving it hell. That’s fishing. Sorry adding pictures is a nightmare now, easier to just type it. All of our pics are on our facebook pages.
