Default First time party boat experience on the J2

I had never been on a party boat before, so Monday I changed that and went out on the 9 hour trip with the Jamaica II. I can't say enough good things about my trip. From the awesome deckhands (Chris & Chris) who were there to help me whenever I needed it, to the captain who put us on fish all day long. For a first timer who wasn't keeping anything, I couldn't have asked for a better day other than the wind and rough seas, but even that wasn't a problem as we picked away at sea bass and porgy all day. If you've never been out on a party boat this is a great one to go on for your first time! Can't wait to go back out with them.

They have been at it longer than anyone else, and are always on the fish .. Seem to know more "spots" than most...there are no other head boats that are any more consistent.. i don't think I have ever had a bad trip on any of their fleet... bob

The Bogans are the first family of NJ Party Boat fishing. I'm 60 and they were that when I was a kid too.

Good people committed to good business.

Had to be right around 20, with a bunch of people getting seasick, had the front of starboard side almost all to myself!
