All 3 are Chain pickerel, a nice mixed bag.

Bass I think are better to handle by the lip, I think they can bump it on the bottom to fend off any infections.

ok cool, thanks! and yeah, i still have the glove even if its a bass...still pissed the one i got today jumped off my thumb...was def my best one yet...made some nice runs with the drag before i locked it in

nice fish!! however, sorry to say that holding them with a work glove like that is much worse than just lipping the bass like normal. you are removing their slime coat and squeezing their internal organs...i've caught thousands of bass in my lifetime and never once had a problem releasing it after lipping it like normal...ps...if ya want some big bass try Darlington park right up the road from scarlet oak pond...lots of weeds but some big mama's in there
