With higher daytime highs and nighttime lows over the upcoming week, anyone have thoughts on when we'll see ice out this spring?

Ice guys are probably loving this year. I can't wait for legit open water, but overnight lows still look to be freezing for a while. I bet we are a month away from open boat launches. I hope I am wrong.

They were ice fishing on LH at the state park last year on the 1st weekend of March. I would expect that again this year.

the ice s 14" on the cong just about anywhere you go now with the night time temps that are foretasted we should have ice thru the second week of march.

Thanks to those who replied. Alex, I think you're absolutely right, second week of March if not later if we have another cold stretch which is certainly possible. We had good ice last year but don't think it ever got to 14".

lets hope so!!the hard water season has been a good one and i would love to have 2-3 weeks more for sure
