They are still great reels!.. I have a bunch of 300's, a couple 308's, a couple 304 [ think its 304.. The one with the round bottom], and just found a very clean 300 [made in France], at a garage sale for $ 2.. My 12 YO grandson loves it, and wants it as his #1 reel.. Time tested, they served millions of fishermen for a couple generations, and still work great.. I hope that NJ219bands keeps it and uses it for many years to come.... bob

I had a few DAM Quick and I loved them. My oldest reel I can remember owning (along with a few Mitchell 300's) was a Browning Arms spinning reel, I was heartbroken when I fell on it as a kid and snapped the reel seat off ! |
