DARK HORSE 7/9 - Quality Fluke Wednesday!

Got out this morning and was greeted by some terrible conditions. No current or drift for most the day, so we bounced around a bunch of smaller pieces. Next to no short life, but the fluke we did catch were nice quality ones. Loads of big Seabass and ling coming up as well. Even saw a keeper winter flounder. Seemed like once we got the current, the wind came up against it and had to really work to keep the boat straight. Saw some more short life as the day went on, but most of the fish were still quality keepers. Nothing came easy though, really had to work the jigs or baits to get the bites. Also dropped a few fish that we would've loved to see today.

Appreciate everyone fishing hard today, it wasn't easy but some guys were rewarded with some beauties! Back at it in the morning!

Plenty of room the rest of the week and the weekend. Weather looks good!
