Default Obsession Fluking

Got out yesterday with Dales and Two Guys Pole Mike and got the last hour of the outgoing and had to wait through slack to get any water movement..

My first drop I had what I'm pretty sure would have been a keeper that came unbuttoned a few feet from the boat. Probably because I didn't set the hook to well, I just raised the pole and started reeling

Dales had 2 keepers and Mike and I got what the Pigeon left on the rock Some sort action but nothing crazy. Both of Dales fish hit the small teaser tipped with a Spearing, Mike and I fished with gulp on a teaser and bucktail.

Seems like the fleet did well judging from the reports yesterday and we saw the net go over pretty frequently on Prowler, Sea Tiger, Kill Shot, Ebb Tide Too and Dark Horse. They're all fishing the same area and it won't be long till it gets picked over so if you want some Fluke, I'd get out there ASAP and use a small teaser above the Bucktail tipped with a spearing

Thanks for the invite brother. Always a sweet ride with great music and a solid effort. Too nice out! Hard to catch without a drift (thanks for working the throttles!) .

Yes this time of year that small teaser on top seems to work but you gotta have some meat ( maybe LOL).

I think that fish bit you on first drop quickly and suprised you

All in all great day with great friends in good weather and a fun trip!
We did bend the rods with a bunch of shorts as well!

As long as I outfish Mike its a better day at work day after
He can get a little chirpy the other way around! Glad it rarely happens.

He is quiet and busy today!

See ya soon

Yeah that's a pretty consistent area this time of year and usually lasts a couple 3 weeks. Kinda nice to be able to fish so close to home and no sticky stuff to loose rigs on.
