Monksville Action

Sunday opened up for me and after reading Hookmanski's post on Monksville, I knew where I was headed! Got on the water at 3:25pm and landed 3 bass in the first hour: smallmouth, dink largemouth, and a nicer largemouth all on a crankbait. When things slowed down, I switched to a jighead/grub on the light rod and was pulling sunfish after sunfish with 2 yellow perch mixed in. Then a monster of a rockbass slammed the grub. 10" and fought like heck on the light rod. The wind gusts pushed me around a little, but I really enjoyed being out there and left with a smile on my face. Left around 6:45 so it was 3+ hours of very good action for that place.

That's what I'm talking about!!! Awesome catches man I'm headed west for vacation for a week and a half but ill be back on Monks soon after. Maybe I'll see you out there sometime!
