They both use a totally different type of scent . Gulp material allows juice to totally soak inside it . The stuff procure uses is made to stay on the outside . Washed out gulp does not catch as well as freshly saturated baits do . Reason I asked if tail was different as I have seen days here where they won’t touch a grub tail . But the paddle shad gets pounded . On slow drift days the nemesis will usually out fish both the grub and the paddle shad . . Conditions and what their forage currently is sometimes dictate what will produce best . .
