Especially good to hear of 50-degree open water, too. Up here above where I live North-Central, the thick ice is good to go but still there of course. Made some spinners last night. All different weight-to-blade ratios. Maybe next week. Pond over here on outskirts of town still iced over, I believe.

Caught and released a 20” pickerel in 52 degree Miry Run Lake this evening.
