Default Manasquan Inlet

Manasquan Inlet
2PM Incomming tide.
Minimal seaweed.
Threw a soft storm shad upstream hoping to work lower depths for blues.
Landed a keeper size fluke.
Nice surprise. Released him to grow.

If you have seen the underwater videos of guys dragging lures on a drift, you know fluke are aggressive and will go after anything that moves by them! Makes you wonder why we can't catch them sometimes after seeing those videos, haha

I caught, tagged and released 35 bluefish to 20” on metals and teasers in 5 trips to the inlet in the past week. Had 3 rigs and 2 teasers bit off. Lots of the fish had sea lice. Landed a few doubles.
