I'm not looking for your favorite spots, but would be curious to hear from everyone who has surf fished recently. The forsythia are blooming which tells me the bass may be starting up. Thought this thread would give us all a little something extra to do while this EFFING virus impacts us all in someway. Be safe , stay healthy, and stock plenty of toilet paper!

Bayshore beaches from Union Beach to Leonardo have been producing bass with a nice amount of keepers this past week. Hour before and hour after high tide with worms or clams have been best.

Pm me for any more info

I saw 23 car loads of fishermen at Fortescue Monday. The last guy in the line was unhooking a small striped bass. Blood worms cost $17 per dozen. Lots of striper fishermen were also at Heislerville. Saturday afternoon a striper fisherman told me he caught nothing in Reeds Bay.

I second that. I've fished the bay shore surf for many years. All the way down to the hook and as far up as clifwood beach.

Was at Asbury on Saturday. About a mile long of bait and birds crashing them. The fish were only 3/4 off the beach. No luck though. Plugged....
