Fished from shore yesterday. Managed a limit of crappie between 10am - 12pm. No “BIG” slabs but decent action. They wanted the jig relatively fast under the float yesterday.

spot burn, they have been fishing these spots for 40years.just because you just started does not mean the whole world just started.there is plenty for everybody.to think that a 5 mile long lake only has fish in one spot is crazy.i fished 6 spots this weekend and all had fish.the moon has them a little off as the
crappie are big night feeders.as for the fishing saturday 1st light the crappie were in full feed mode.i fished from 6:30 till 9:00am and had over 30 nice slabs, all released.went home and took care of some things and headed back up
at 12:30.jump in my sons boat and ran to the northern most part of the lh.it took a little looking around but once we found the perch it was game on.the bite was so good that we were catching them two at a time on the small husky jerks.we fishing till 3:30 and it was every cast fishing.again all fish released.was up the lake again sunday morning at first light.the spot i was fishing was as flat as glass and there were fish rising all over the place.first three cast were all golden tarpon but after that is was crappie city.bite lasted till 9am.all good fish
so i kept a few for lunch.went out again around 3:30 and fished till 6:30pm.it was a slow pick just good enough to keep ya fishing.all and all another great weekend on the cong.remember hit those local shops, they need it.

What I am talking about is a non local bait shop reposting a picture on Facebook with the ugliest and most easily identifiable building on the lake in the background.

Thumbs up Re: who going in serch of crappies

I was out on Sunday in the boat. Had really good action with the Perch in the morning. Found a few good sized Crappie in the middle of the day. Lol! Eating those tasty treats for dinner tonight. Bounced around the lake in the afternoon but had to leave at 3. Wish I could’ve stayed for prime time. It’s only going to get better!!!
