Well done Bobby. I'll be hitting the skinny water tomorrow morning on my day off with a couple of kids to see if we can keep this amazing June fluke bite going. Great opportunity to take some first time fishermen out.
On Sunday I hit the river with my dad and we caught nothing but big fish. It was amazing - I think the fog and early rain kept all boats off the water so we were all alone out there. I set the hook and thought I had a bottom snag - didn't budge! Then I let it go slack trying to unsnag the bottom when all of a sudden I got a huge head shake and then GONE. This was a pool winner for sure - the one that got away. 5 days left in the WR challenge. Still enjoyed the heck out of the day and this photo is my personal favorite reason why I enjoy this sport so much! ![]() ![]()
