For the past few season, my son and I have done very well with white during the first 4-6 weeks of fluke season. River, back bay, open bay and inshore white out produced all other colors for us. Only exception is when we found the fluke feeding on mantis shrimp, then nothing beats a 4” new penny GULP shrimp.
By the end of June we usually start doing better on pink, pink shine, chartreuse or nuclear chicken as it varies day to day and sometimes tide to tide. |
