Route 46 fishing

all baitcasters i've ever used it's very tough to click the button to open the spool lock if there is any pressure on the line. It's a feature/mechanism in the reel. yours may be broken, is it used or been dropped? that shouldn't happen that easily.

It’s a brand new abu Garcia I haven’t dropped it but I heard it click back after I started reeling. I’ve fished with spinning reels the last 30 years so I will have to go put it under tension and see if the button can be clicked down still. Thanx for the response
