Opening day in SE PA today , never saw such a crowd on an opener in years !
I waited until noon to fish by then half the crowd dispersed . Hot, clear day , seems the size of fish in my local stream was better than previous years .
After fishing all fall and winter virtually by myself this was an eye opener , anyhow enjoyed the day caught some nice bows but nothing over 13”’s .
Lost one bigger one , hook failure , I usually change them but I guess I missed this one ! Good to be out in non 38 degree water !

Probably all NJ guys looking to catch Brown Trout and Brook Trout.

Fished 2 streams , dozen fish all bows ! Usually get some holdover brooks and browns nada for me ! See what happens all week !
