Made some yesterday following this recipe and they were very good!

Glad you enjoyed them. It's been cakes and chowder almost every week here
My wife and kids love them. Like all recipes you add or subtract what you like. I add shallots to the cake mix and add leaks in my chowder mix.

Yea my wife liked the capers but I wasn't a big of the salty capers in the cake. I think I will cut back on capers next time and add shallots and scallions. Regardless they were great!

Rinse the capers under running water, they are way to salty
