Posting this in the saltwater thread since I posted in Freshwater by mistake! I’ve been going to LBI ever since I was born, I used to even live there during the summers, but I’ve never really fished down there. I’m going down for a full week next week and wanted to get on some fish. I’m gonna try for fluke at the inlet, but I’m interested in catching anything and everything. Anyone have any tips for fishing down there?

Small kastmaster in the surf and you'll get snappers and then live line them on another pole for Fluke....

Pick up some green crabs and go to the Barnegat light inlet. Fish the rocks around the lighthouse or go on the jetty near the ocean(long walk) and you will catch blackfish and an occasional triggerfish. Lot's fun even though there is a 1 fish limit on blackfish.
