Default Favorite food and snacks on a fishing trip

Got invited to fish for mid-shore bluefin tuna tomorrow. We're all bringing our own food and drink but I also want to bring things to share. So far I'm planning to bring coffee, apple cider donuts, cherries and grapes. Someone else is bringing smoked ribs. Wondering what everyone here at NJFishing likes to eat on a trip like this.

I’m not one to eat a big meal out on the water. Generally, I limit myself to a sandwich, some grapes, maybe a couple of cheese sticks, and some almonds or cashews. All with the goal of protein dense foods.
Lastly, plenty of water and maybe a Gatorade to stay hydrated.

Cold Kentucky fried chicken original recipe, slim jims and sourdough pretzel nuggets. This all will make you thirsty and than you can be sure that you will drink enough water!!

Buttered roll or bagel, cashews, almonds, peanuts and ice cold half pints of bottled water and a bunch of miller lite nips. The small waters and beer stay cold and you can pound them quick to rehydrate.

Thumbs up Re: Favorite food and snacks on a fishing trip

Im a fan of some chicken legs. Cook em the night before in some good BBQ then enjoy next day on the boat. Just bring some paper towels!

Sloppy Joe sandwiches.....the good ones! Lot's of liquids to stay hydrated and some ginger ale (always works for me) if you start feeling a little queasy. Fried chicken is a great and easy alternative to buy or make yourself. If you tend to get motion sickness, I'd stay away from greasy foods, probably won't help. Some snacks (pretzels, cashews, almonds etc ) and the fruit you mentioned plus watermelon is a good choice.
