I would need an attorney to decifer bag limits and areas open and closed
The Captains know where to go and when As far as fish processing No dry ice needed. They are blast frozen to perfection. Cut down into 1 to 2 lb bags and labeled by species Every airline is different. I took 1 checked bag and 2 fifty pound fish boxes which cost a totol of $ 75 If you want to turn the trip into a MEAT TRIP DONT GO We had an outstanding trip and wound up with 85 to 98 lbs of fish including weight of boxes The days of going to Alaska and bringing home 150 lbs per person are OVER For me its not about how much fish I bring home but about the overall Alaska experience This trip is NOT affordable for EVERYONE and I get it. I am fortunate because I have such a huge group that I get comped as a "guide" with that said that still excludes the Float Plane, Back and fourth to Juneau, Fishing License and incidentals. The 15 guys that went with me all said it was worth the $$$$$. I was also able to get a substantial discount for the guys I brought with me It is not needed to spend this much to go to Alaska but it was by far the most relaxing and BEST expieriance. This was my 5th Alaska trip and cant wait to go back in 2020 Last edited by fishark531; 07-26-2018 at 03:23 PM.. |
