.
Actually two boaters died in the last week on the Delaware River. 39-year old Cheeyen Yap drowned at the Delaware Water Gap just downstream from the Rt. 80 bridge. His body has yet to be recovered. Another man fell out of a 16-foot boat and drowned in South Jersey. His body was eventually found in Beverly Township. As far as I can find, his name has not been released. A third body was found near Christopher Columbus Blvd and Reed Street in Philadelphia, but the police don't think it was a boater. .

They recovered the body of the kayaker in Split Rock Reservoir Friday. His name was Michael Vecchiarella, 55, of Totowa. http://www.nj.com/morris/index.ssf/2...epage-featured Here is his obituary: https://festamemorial.com/tribute/de.../obituary.html I haven't heard anything about Cheeyen Yap. He may still be in the river. .

There was a body found in the Delaware River on Saturday in Upper Mount Bethel Pa a few miles south of where Cheeyen Yap was last seen there hasn’t been any confirmation yet that I’m aware of but there hasn’t been anyone else missing in the river
