Can anyone confirm my guess? I am almost positive this is a redfin pickerel. Appreciate any comments, thanks.

To quote Ed NcMahon, " You are correct!" That is actually a good sized red fin from what I can see. They don't get very big. Nice catch and good job getting your lure back.

i have not seen one of those for a long time that is a big one as well, they don't get as big as the chain pickerel. cool catch
