Default Improvement in Blackfishing

12-15 : 2 man limit with multiple releases. Began on a drop in the 55 foot range. It was drop and reel fishing, a ton of shorts. Greens out-fished whites significantly. Made another move out to 70 feet hoping for some bigger fish and it was a slower pick of more shorts with the occasional dog.
Tally: 62 shorts and 16 keepers ORL.

12-17 : One of the best bites of the year. Began our day out in 60 feet, and as soon as the anchors came tight we had fish on. Had drop and reel fishing with some nice roasters mixed in. Pulled 55 fish, with 16 keepers by 10:00AM then it died. Made a few wiggles, some more shorts, another wiggle and the dogs came out so it was time for greener pastures. Made the second drop and it was game on again. Shorts were ferocious. Pulled 83 fish off this pile fulfilling our 3 man limit and released another dozen keepers before heading to the barn. Ran through 1/2 a bushel of greens and 1/2 bushel of whites.
Tally: 138 fish, probably 30/33 keepers.

12-18 : Ran in a different direction looking for some big fish and it wasnt meant to be. Got a few keepers and some shorts but the wreck was COVERED in dogs. Ran back to where we had them the day before and they were waiting for us. Again the shorts were ferocious but we pulled 112 fish off the piece, fulfilling our 2 man limit with a bunch of releases. For the first time this year the keepers were all roasters, 17+ inch fish. 2 man limit by noon.
Tally:131 Fish, 19 keepers ORL
