Default Sucky blackfishing

Went out to the blackfish drops today. In no rush today I sorted through the crabs and ditched the dead ones in the morning. Got on the hook by 10 am. Fished about 5 drops which all sucked. Had the worst day I’ve had all season. Lost tons of lead and caught one short. I didn’t even have much pecking down there. Fishing flat out sucked. I’m a private boat and I’m not sugar coating this one. When I got in I had to run to quick check to buy some hotdogs and chicken tenders for the 2 bushels of crabs to eat in the bait pen bc I didnt even have one rack. Fishing sucks. Fished 35-70’ of water today. I didn’t see many other boats doing shit and they moved rather quickly. I guess this is what happens when the porgys and blackfish are beat on bc the flounder season closes early. The flounder fishing was quite lousy for us to this year until the end of the season and then we did great. Everyone decided to porgy fish in fluke season bc sea bass was closed. Oh well

I feel your point is valid.
