Well then, it looks like the NW winds are going to settle down for a couple days. This wind is notorious for eating ice in NJ! That’s all about to change. We should be making ice sometime tonight. It will be snow ice but it’s a start. Post your findings here if you don’t mind. Let’s see what happens boys and girls!!!

shawnee is the biggest lake that i know of that freezes in total super quickly before everything else except back woods ponds and certain coves of certain places depending on the wind. anyway shawnee was locked up again this morning after being smashed up a bit by the wind yesterday. It usually makes about an inch + per day with these current temps so, it should be ready by sunday haha...that being said, it's private so you'll have to let me know if you want to go

Drove past Budd this morning it was entirely covered with skim ice. I'm sure one of you knuckleheads will fall through this weekend!
