![]() Like others have mentioned, spiral wrap or acid wrap simply takes the twisting and turning of the rod in your hands especially on larger fish and heavier sinkers totally out of the question. It allows the angler to apply all the power and torque into fighting the fish, not fighting the rod!
All factory JW rods are spiral wrapped for this reason! For seabass and blackfish I highly suggest you check out the JW Black Demon MH. Currently still on sale! You won't regret it!
