Default Fluke Linit

Limited out by the middle of the section no drift. Caught another keeper (released) before the end of the second drift. Also had two shorts. Keepers came on live bait while the shorts came on a strip/spearing combo.

Thanks for the report . We did well with peanuts ourselves . Could only find 5 keepers between the two of us . Got hot with little wind . Definitely a better fishery .

I'm glad to hear that you guys had a good day. I went out on a non sponsor half day party boat yesterday. It was brutal. Total catch was one short fluke and 3 sea robins.
Now for my pet peeve. I realize that the boat needs to make money. However, this boat was like a refugee boat. Literally, every spot was taken with a bunch of first timers and kids on board. This lead to massive tangles all day with 7 or 8 people getting hung up. Just charge a little more per person and limit the number of fares. I'd gladly pay, as would most serious fishermen.
All in all, just a frustrating day.

If they don't take first timers and kids where will the industry be in 10 years?
The number of fares on a boat is limited to their coast guard max limit.

During the last half of the first drift and first half of the second drift, every live bait I sent down was crushed in less than a minute.

Every boat has something it caters to.. Whether it be for serious fishermen, a balance between fishermen and tourists, towards first timers, etc, every boat has it... Find the boat that's right for you. Seems like that one isn't it.

Ridiculous to say the least! Turn away money? Not everyday is crowded and try a new sponsor boat!
