![]() I have a pop up camper 2004/Coleman Fleetwood. I just set it up to get ready. The lights (not trailer lights) do not come on when on battery power. Nothing on DC works. When I plug it in to 'shore' power everything works. Any tips? The battery is fully charged, I get readings at the connections I can find including the harness that goes into the converter.

![]() There might be a fuse or relay somewhere that is blown. Best thing to do is check all the fuses and relays at each end with a multi meter to make sure you have continuity at both ends.
One other thing to check before you do that is your safety switch if you have a sink that folds up. On my former pop up there was a switch that was depressed when you folded the sink up that would not allow the interior lights to work if the sink was not folded up into place and the switch was depressed, check that first.

![]() Thanks. Found it. I replaced the resettable fuse inline next to the battery. It was old and badly weathered. I figured to RnR even if it wasn't the cause. I happened to get the new one today and now it works.
I did suspect the switch under the sink. When I had the lights on shore power I lifted the sink to find they went off, the switch works. I got a new one of those coming anyway. Thanks again. BTW - I thought getting boat servicing in season was bad, I made an appointment for my PUP in October (just in case). |
