.
One of the greatest things about fishing is having the opportunity to observe all the other wild creatures that share the waterways with us. Here is a pic I shot last August when I saw a bald eagle and an osprey fighting over a catfish floating in the water. In the end, the eagle chased off the osprey and won the catfish.

I drive a truck and drive up and down rt 21 regularly. Im always amazed by the amount of wildlife along the river. I have seen Eagles mink fox racoons and so many diffrent kinds of ducks. Wildlife is amazing that it doesn't just survives but thrives in the most congested part of our state.

I have seen one on the Passaic in the great swamp area - watches me fish. Caught a few pike with clear talon marks on their backs
