That's one of the things I thought about. When I first got there a bald eagle flew up the river, one of nature's finest. When I left a drone flew over the river.

I've just started seeing drones while I'm fishing this summer. Yeah, they're really annoying. It distracts me from what I'm doing. I'm trying to focus on my lure and I've got this buzzing thing thing flying around me. .

6 lb. test casted in to their rotors should take care of the annoyance.

NY DEC is using them for surveillance and enforcement now. Seen them on the S.R. when I was up this year in Oct.
Still too many recreational users here in NJ now though. I agree with Mark, cast a line and watch 'em drop. |

I would say F&G. We were bass fishing late March a few years ago in the middle of Raritan Bay and one appeared 100 ft off of our stern and just hovered. We were far from land and no other boats around. My buddy started yelling at if to go away and I started to tie two sinkers on a piece of line to fowl the props. But it flew away before i could see the thing take a saltwater bath😈Haha.
