Awesome read! I totally agree with you, I love fishing all night. It's so different than during the day time. The old lady and most of my friends think I'm nuts for kayak fishing at night. The few friends that have tried it with me are hooked. Very peaceful zenith time, except when those beasts are blowing up on top! Keep the good stories coming. Glad to see your feeling better.

great post ken, you are on a really nice roll with that mouse.those are some nice largemouths,heck a five pounder on topwater at night, you got to love that.by the way nice job on that "last cast" save on the skunkin with the mosquitoes acting up. well done ken

Beautiful fish!

I have a few spots I'd love to try at night but being they are prime bear country in northern Warren & western Sussex counties, no way I wander around the woods at night. 10 Coyotes don't scare me; a 500 lb hungry bear does

Can`t say I blame ya buzzbaiter...... as I did have a rather large bear cross my way just the other night.......well........ he wasn`t real close,.......maybe 50 yards away....... checkin` me out.

My girlfriend kinda has a fit when I get that itch to go out & about in the darkness........ So I get where you`re comin` from...........

As I said, it`s an absolutely different game chasin` `Hawgs at night....... The bite is so much more fierce when they crash the top-water lure.......

And I love being out & about in the darkness......... As I enjoy the calmness of the night.
