Fluke 6 inch gulp

I should have used better looking and longer strip for pic purpose but i do this and honestly see no difference in the bites and catch, i try to fit the entire grub on the hook so its bit more natural looking i guess. I never throw away the bitten off grubs cuz quite frankly, the tail get bitten off too easily and its a pain in the azz to keep buying them.

Did pretty well on Thursday with the bigger fish hitting the bucktail with a sea robin strip.

All other fish hit the live killie (wonder rig style) except for one.

Although I've caught on gulp this year...I just haven't had "stellar" luck this year with gulp as I've had with meat.

I cut the grub down by about 2 inches so the hook is closer to the tail. But i usually fish the 6in grub on the bottom jig and a 5in swimming mullet on the top teaser.
