Try fishing as early or late in the day as you can. In the summertime, fish are much more active just after dawn and just before dusk. If you can only fish mid-day, focus on cloudy days, especially days when there is a light rain. If midday sun is your only option, focus on shady areas, or if there are none, fish deep water along weed lines.

I went out again last night. I usually go out around 5:45 - 7 or so. Last night I went out around 7:30 - 9pm and I had 3 hookups on Senkos. 1 spit the hook, another huge bass broke my 4lb test by wrapping it around the other side of the dock and I successfully brought in a 2lber which was nice for a change. I could definitely tell a difference as soon as it started getting darker out, the bites became more ferocious
