our fish monger trip got canceled, haven't fished since last wed or thurs. going to give it my all on trying to nab a monster striper this weekend, devoting both days and then probably jumping back into fresh water.

I'm experiencing this! I've only had my vessel out 4 times since the beginning of May! I'm going to DIE!!! Tis the season for people to spend money and that tax return on home improvements! All trips this year have been a success! But only 2 night bite trips for me so far this season! That's about 15-20 trips short of what I used to do this time of year! GOTTA GET DAT LOOT!!!

i actually think i needed the rest haha, that monster eye helped ease me into a nice little rest, but i'm itching now to get my hands on some more big fish. I've got a lot of free time coming up so i needed to make sure i had the stamina saved up!

I caught 8 bluegills, 5 black crappies, 2 white perch and a yellow perch ultralight jigging in the Millstone River yesterday evening. Landed my 1,402 NJ fresh water fish for 2016.

Me and skunk were out and about last night zillion boats out flying all around weeds evreywhere fish blowing up here and there but nothing great, we each had two blow up on our plugs have em on for sec then pop off

I hit Spruce for cats last night. the place was a ghost town. Nothing was hitting for me. I hung out just long enough to have a cigar, the wind was blowing hard enough to make the top of my beer bottle whistle. That was my clue to go home and go to bed.
