![]() I have two versions. Social meeting with former coworkers 3 hours.
Or fishing/crabbing alone is about 7 hours. Til ramp gate closes or back by sunset

![]() Since I trailer my boat down from Warren county, I'll fish all day, typically coming hitting the ramp around twilight. Too much effort not to maximize the time.

![]() I trailer. Live close to Raritan Bay. Ive done trips anywhere from 1/2 hour to sleeping overnight out on the water.
Right now at this point, it all depends on what kids want. I've got a 14 yr old and his buddies who come with us all the time. All I do read their moods, ya kinda know when they are done......whether its 15 minutes in or 8 hours later. Ya kinda learn who you fish with and what they are capable of.

![]() I am from Bergen County ..... so an hour door to door to AHMM where I keep my boat on a trailer. Usually leave the house at 3:45 AM which has me on the water fueled, iced and baited up by 5:30 AM. Usually back at the ramp at 1:30 PM then 30 to 45 min for engine flush, wash down, etc...... on the road and back home by 4PM.
So all that said 12 hour day for 8 hours on the water. ![]() ![]() |
