Yea it's nice. We've been on weekends and it's not over crowded
Road to boat launch is a little prickly, but i scouted it in a Subaru Impreza, so it's not that bad

I read someone on here called it Monksville Jr. before, and that's a great line! It can be a wonderful lake or a terrible lake depending on what the fish want to do that day (just like monks). Amongst the largemouth, pickerel and trout, there's also some smallies in there and some nice yellow perch. It's definitely a welcome peaceful retreat from the summer crowds at monksville. I just don't trust the road leading to the boat launch for a few days after it rains. It's a mess when it's dry, let alone when it's muddy.
