Go back to the D&R canal on 5/1 and see if that walleye is still hanging around in the spot, then you can keep him

D&R Canal is a stocking conduit: Delaware River fish enter @ Bull Island, exit into the Raritan River @ New Brunswick.

The red bumps are "walleye dermal sarcoma" I had some fish with a similar thing earlier this spring. Supposedly not a big deal and it goes away on it's own. This according to the state's fish pathologist.
