imo the shad.the shad fights out right not using the weeds or bottom.i am not saying the others don't fight.

They don't fight out right, they use the current so its nit a fair comparison. I've caught many casting from my kayak and if you float down the river fighting them it's a completely different fight. Same thing when fishing from shore, they fight good till you get them in slack water then they are like any other fish.

Only things I've ever caught out of the Delaware are smallmouth bass, channel catfish, rock bass & walleye. Want to get a shad outta there badly lol.
