man its cold out. I didn't fasten them or anything but you can get the idea here. let me know if you have any questions, I have a piece left over of the pvc stuff if you want it. Im not sure if its trex, but its the same kind of exterior pvc trim thing. im thinking about drilling some other stuff into the pvc since its not structural for pliers, beer holder, cigar ashtray, essential kind of stuff like that.

I own the sailboats2go outriggers. They are expensive, but they work. To be honest and like you said, if you are handy you can build your own outriggers and I bet they would work just as good or better than the expensive store bought ones.
