Shit. Why?
That was a fine launch/pick-up area for kayaks and canoes.
That parking lot is always filled (except for people with some type of permit) unless you launch really early in the morning, anyway.
There's a boat launch a few miles up river that anybody can use for free.

I guess I'm just get exhausted from the massive over-crowding in the DWGNRA section of river. Especially from the insufferable hordes of people from New York. Adding another boat ramp just adds to the over-crowding and over-harvest of bass.

Take out some insurance for the warm weather months. Somebody's guaranteed to run over a bather, kayaker or float tuber. This place is a hot mess in the warm weather months.
