the payment deadline is going to be before there is ice....why don't we just call it a winter fishing contest and fish from the boat hahaha.

seriously though...maybe push the deadline back and the end date? maybe we'll get 'lucky' and march will hold what little if any ice february gives us. I don't even think that little pond you love to fish in the north west corner of nj is going to freeze before february!

It sure doesn't look good at all as of right now. I will change the sign up date to the end of January. Hopefully there's some kind of sign from Old Man Winter that the Arctic blast is on the way. If it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen! Gotta keep fishing regardless.

2012 was a rough year with minimal ice but the fishing stayed good because of the unseasonable temps. I'll take it as it is either way. Let's see what happens fellaz!

P.S. This contest is driven by angler interest. I'm hoping there's a lot more people that want to get involved. Where are all the boyz and girlz from last year???

"IF" we get fishable ice you can count me in....had some hope with the last 2 nights being chilly and skim ice in the christmas tree bucket but it is going into the 70's for christmas eve

Aghhh there will be ice dnt think were gonna get spoiled this year and have a foot of ice like last year..... sounds to me like chrisper is worried hes gonna have to eat his shorts! Keeper walleyes through the ice comin soon dnt u worry man!!!!!

I spy a bit of a cold spell sometime around the New Year!!! Let's start doing those ice dances ya buncha MANIACS! Maybe, just maybe we can get this contest going this year. Like I said, if we get a week the contest is on. If we get a month that would be better.
