I read an informative article a few weeks ago that stated historically, when we have a "mild" November and December, we tend to have very cold January and February. Let's hope so!

PS: Me and the boys were first on the ice January 6th 2015, let's hope we can duplicate that

I've fished plenty of the lakes up that way, even the warmest winters we were fishing up that way by the new year. Some years early December but mid December is very typical. Depending what you wanna catch I'll be more than willing to try to point you in the right direction

that snow is going to make a nice river when it's in the 60's again next week! EL NINO!
