Anyone fish Butler Pond or Taylor lake in Essex?

Sorry, I am special ed with social media and all things social for that matter which is probably why I have so much time to fish but anyway I got a response from East Orange regarding Taylor Lake and Butler Pond:


Mr. Grosvenor:



Taylor Lake and Butler Pond are located in the East Orange Water Reserve, owned by the City of East Orange Board of Water Commissioners. Fishing and other prohibited activates are considered trespassing which may lead to criminal prosecution.

Well, now we know, ive wanted to know that question for a while now, i was gonna throw a kayak in there. There is a spot in Livingston called Littell People's park that has some big lmbs and channels. About 6 or 7 minutes from taylor and butler
