On smaller lures they can be difficult but I use them on my fluorocarbon leaders I make up for MUSKY. With a larger lure they are a snap to change out but tough on lighter stuff.

Thanks guys picked up a pack of the speed clips and small duolocks from Laurie at Dows.

I use rosco / sampo. Tough as nails.

i have a pack of speed clips.....free to a good home....
actually wouldn't give them to my worst enemy....was jigging blade baits and on my 10th cast and second pop the line went light....figured a pickerel bite off or line break...NOPE....speed clip still attached...lure must have worked its way between the split ring portion....needless to say threw them in the garbage..cost me a $8 lure.... |
