Monster 'brid!!! Very nice! I bet it was an intense battle to get her into the net.

I had a 27.5" a few years ago from the kayak, my best fight and still my personal best Hybrid. Glad you got enough pictures to remember her by!

I caught one at SR about ten yrs ago that was 27+ and it weighed 9.8. This fish here was way bigger girth wise. I wish I weighed her......the video and pics from the gopro don't do her justice.

Just got a big pure strain yesterday.......it's up on my youtube page if ya wanna check it out. Caught it using my sg17lc and I couldn't stop her......actually had to chase it down.

Oh I just assumed it was from nj unless stated otherwise. I figured a private lake or something.

Chrisper it was caught in PA. Sorry some guys here know I fish Nockamixon quite a bit.......I shoulda just noted it in the first post. It's a helluva tough lake and I have seen quite a few guys from SR try their hand there and come up empty. I have personally come up empty quite a few times myself. I'll go there and be getting skunked and in my head say to hell with this lake. Then I catch a big azz Brid, a big azz pure strain or the place turns on fire and i'm killing them and all those fishless hours go away lol.

Bicey, question? Has the other big lake made a come back since it was dredged or whatever? I had some good experiences on that lake with an old buddy of mine years ago. No need to mention names of water bodies. Just curious as I haven't been there in about 12 years or so.

If it's the one I think your talking about.....i was there 3 yrs ago and did well for my first time fishing there. Lots of stripers in the 18" to 25" range. A few hybrids...one 26" and fat. I spent the week on vacation there and caught some real nice smallies. Seen some recent pics of fat eyes too. Stayed on the north end of the lake not far from the dam. Lake is too crazy to fish during the day in summer.
