Kicking yourself or not, that is a good story. At the cost of your rod. Did anyone on the boat laugh when it happened? Sorry to say it, but, I would have. Maybe you should have your rod on a leash from now on. Tough luck on the rod man.

LoL Dale,
Still nothing beats managing to overturn a jon boat last summer on small private lake. First thing I managed to save was my trusty bottle of jack and forget about the rest of the stuff. Then my friend starts swimming across the lake to the other shore trying to bring the overturned boat there. Mind you that's a good 500-600 yard swim while the closer shore was less than 50 away. Overall managed to save everything except my phone, my camera and my glasses.... Ahhhh .....fun times Andre |
